The War Dogs' competitive team has completed their first "real" tournament - the top three teams even receive a monetary prize.  We witnessed a tournament run that has made the clan proud. 

The Samsung SSD Alienware Arena Bad Company 2 tournament is an 8 vs. 8 conquest tournament.  The rules of the match did not allow either M60's or Gustav's to used. The preliminaries included 29 teams who all competed to be one of the 16 finalists.  While we had a scrim team organized, this was a different matter - it was to encompass up to 14 matches over a period of weeks.  Cold_BlooD stepped up and got it all organized - My Addiction jumped in and designed strategies that would best play to the team's strengths on a given map.  The team practiced and burned up the bandwidth on Teamspeak. 

The result?  A 4-0 start in the preliminaries!  After some tougher matches =WD= squeaked into the finals at position 16 with a 5 - 2 record.  The finals use a double elimination bracket with the first match being the #16 team against the #1 team.  After some quick study we discovered that the #1 rival Gaming had won every tournament that had been in recent memory and even had corporate sponsorships of their team.  The unfortunate loss to rival was somewhat offset by the knowledge that the Dogs held their own against the number 1 team in BC2.  After beating Team Dynamic and Binary Gaming, the competitive team ended up as one of the elite 8 teams in Bad Company 2. 

You have shown that the War Dogs are one of the best and most talented clans out there - despite our focus on fun.  You have done us proud and the clan wants to salute each of  the team members with a very special "WUFF"!  The team members, in alphabetical order, are:
